Pastiche Stamp by IOD - Iron Orchid Designs

Step into the world of Pastiche, where the quaint charm of cloches and cages meets the quirky world of bugs and critters. One of the themes of the Spring 2024 release is academia, a theme evoking daydreams of tranquil, cozy book nooks in beautiful botanical spaces. The birdcages were inspired by actual washed-back birdcages encapsulating beautiful floral elements.  

Great care was taken in crafting the bars and cloches, ensuring they enhance your designs without overshadowing them. The bars allow you to stamp over your chosen elements seamlessly, while the cloches, with their reduced shadowing, offer a clear showcase for whatever you place inside.

Envision this set in your mixed media projects, pairing perfectly with IOD's Kindest Regards, Le Courrier, or the Butterflies Stamps, as well as Millot’s Pages or Brocante Transfers. There is so much potential for beautiful layering and intricate compositions.

A little insider tip: The pointy stand above the bird is upside down – flip it, and it becomes the perfect perch for pinned beetles, butterflies, or moths. And why not add a touch of dimension with the IOD Monarch or Specimens Moulds for some eye-catching three-dimensional effects?
