Sealing Painterly Paint

Painterly dries matte and remains highly reactivatable, so finished furniture and décor projects should be carefully sealed.

Compatible DIY finishing products include:

A topcoat or wax will also deepen and enrich the dried color. Apply your chosen finish carefully so you do not unintentionally reactivate or disturb your completed artwork.

Important Application Note:

Because Painterly can be reactivated with water even after it has dried, use care when applying additional wet layers or your final protective finish. Allow your artwork to dry thoroughly and apply your selected sealer gently according to the finishing product directions.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, surrounding colors, application technique, surface, topcoat, and individual screen settings. Matte Painterly colors may also appear richer or deeper after wax or topcoat is applied.
