Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish by Fusion Mineral Paint

Made from beeswax, Homestead House Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish is food safe and can be used around the kitchen on wooden cutting boards, butcher block, utensils, salad bowls, children’s toys, etc - anything you would like to bring back to life.

Homestead House Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish can also be used as a sealant for Milk Painted surfaces on fine furniture, or on already oiled furniture (i.e. Danish Oil), for added protection.  It dries to a lovely satin sheen. 

The Salad Bowl Finish can also be used as a resist is distressing.

Coverage: 

• 1.75 oz / 50g covers approximately 100 sq ft.
• 7 oz. / 200g covers approximately 400 sq ft

How to use this product: Apply with a brush or lint free cotton cloth. Allowed to dry for a few minutes then buff. If wood is very dry, apply Hemp Oil prior to this beeswax salad bowl finish for a rich. Reapply as needed. Heavily used items may require every month or two whereas low wear items every year or two. This is also an excellent sealer for porous chalky or milk painted surfaces and does not yellow the white colors. Can be used as a resist when milk-painting to achieve the distressed or crackled and chippy look.
