The IOD Emily Clare Transfer by Iron Orchid Designs draws from an 1868 family album created by Miss Emily Clare Harvey, where pencil-and-watercolor flourishes were lovingly painted around her family’s portraits. Preserved by the Cooper Hewitt, the album’s whimsical details now live on in this transfer—featuring charming vignettes like kittens, hummingbirds, butterflies, banners, and even a proud little rooster, each rendered with a delicate hand and unmistakable personality.

Equal parts refined and playful, Emily Clare offers makers a fresh, unexpected design vocabulary. Gridlines are printed on the transfer backing. This allows you to confidently position the image exactly where you want it on your decor project. The IOD transfer backing can also be used to burnish the transfer to ensure full adhesion.
