Resin Spray & Sealer (High Gloss) by Alumilite

A clear, fast-drying sealer for sealing porous surfaces such as fabrics, wood, paper, prints, stone, metal, plastics, or castings. Produces a clear, high gloss finish.

Alumilite Resin Spray & Sealer is a fast drying, high solids acrylic spray.  This product is ideal for sealing porous surfaces such as paper or wood prior to flood coating with EnviroTex Lite. Apply to delicate surfaces such as dried flowers and fabrics to add a little stiffness and support before coating with EnviroTex Lite. Alumilite Resin Spray and Sealer can also be used as a “bonding agent” on surfaces which are hard to bond to such as plastics, glass & metal. Can yellow over time if exposed to sunlight. Not food safe.

Dry Times:

• Tack free - 2-4 hours
• To handle - 5-9 hours
• Fully dry - 24 hours

Directions:  Read all directions on actual container before spraying. Shake can for one full minute until agitator mixes material into solution. A clean surface is essential for a successful application. Remove oil, wax, grease, and dirt before spaying. Cover and protect all areas not intended to be coated. Hold can in an upright position, about 8 to 10 inches from the surface being sprayed. Test on a small aera of material to be sprayed prior to coating. Be sure spray nozzle is pointed away from face and spray tip is firmly in place.  Clean tip after spraying by turning can upside down and pressing valve for 2-3 seconds until only air comes out. Several thin coats are recommended with dry time in between, rather than one heavy coat. Will produce a gloss finish when several coats are applied.

Idea spraying temperature is 70 F (21 C) if the can is chilled, allow to remain indoors for several hours before use.
