Bohemian Brights feature a tough, semi-transparent finish with a smooth satin sheen. The thinner, self-leveling formula makes them especially useful for highlighting carved details, layering color, adding artistic accents, and creating luminous effects over previously painted surfaces. They can also be used independently for decorative painting and artwork.

Important: Bohemian Brights Are NOT the Same Formula as Original DIY Paint

Although Bohemian Brights are made by DIY Paint Co., they are not the same chalk-and-clay formula as Original Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint. Bohemian Brights use vivid pigments in a thinner, semi-transparent base and are designed to work beautifully as a companion to DIY Paint or as a separate decorative paint.

Because the finish is translucent, the color underneath may remain visible and influence the final result. This makes Bohemian Brights especially useful for artistic layering, highlighting, blending, glazing-style effects, and adding intense pops of color.
