Shipping Pause. There will be a shipping pause FEB 19 - 27 due to family vacation. Please plan ahead. You will be able to order during this period, but orders will not begin to be shipped until Feb 28, 2022. - Orders placed by 6:00 pm Central, February 18, will ship Saturday morning February 19. - Orders placed after 6:00 pm Central, February 18, will BEGIN to ship out Monday, February 28. Shipping Rate Changes. Unfortunately, the United States Postal Service (USPS) increased shipping rates on January 9th, 2022 by an average of 3% to 5%, with some further destinations increasing as much as $4 to $5 a shipment! Ridiculous. The U.S. Postal Service last increase was January 24, 2021, by an average of 3.5%, and we did not increase our rates. The last time The Painted Heirloom increased the flat/free shipping rates/threshold was January 26, 2020 - more than 2 years ago. My husband and I have evaluated the most recent rate increases over the last several weeks since implemented, and have determined it's necessary to modify our shipping offers effective Monday, February 7, 2022. I hope you understand. Effective February 7, 2022, orders with the following values will be charged the following rates:
